Demographic and Social Research

The Observatory undertakes a variety of research into the demographic and social composition of Warwickshire.

Demographic and social research includes population estimates and projections; information on births, deaths and migration; investigating deprivation and disadvantage in Warwickshire; examining the health of the population as well as general quality of life issues.

Since early 2003 analysis and dissemination of the results of the 2001 Census has been underway. For information on this please go to our dedicated 2001 Census in Warwickshire web pages by following the link in the navigation bar on the left.

We maintain a number of different datasets, publish regular reports and have access to Office for National Statistics and other Central Government data.
